In order to save time on your way to boarding a plane, make sure to wear little or even no jewellery at all. Airport security would require you to take off all items that you have in your person as you go through the scanner. Imagine the inconvenience this would cause if you have to remove them one by one. It is better to just remove your valuables before security check, then put them back on later.
